Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist, and competing in the UFC flyweight division. She is the older sister of fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her journey into combat sports as a Muay Thai kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals with a unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded a second medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008, a gold medal in 2011 and then was named in the position of IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in 2016. Antonia has started her professional career in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and 2016 the World Lion Fight Lightweight Champion. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and came back with Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017.
